Are all of the ingredients safe for me to take?
This
is an all too important question that most women won't
even think twice about before taking a herbal
supplement. Most people figure that if it is on
the market that it must be safe to take. This is
far from reality. The makers of the pills are
under no type of regulation whatsoever. Did you
just read that? The pill makers are under no type
of regulation. If you felt you knew what herbs
where going to make your bust grow bigger, you could
start selling your formula tomorrow with no questions
asked. This poses a very large problem for people
just taking these drugs.
Certain
herbs can cause problems for women. This doesn't
mean you, but it is possible for Kava Kava along with
Black cohosh to cause some women adverse side effects.
Hundreds of Thousands of women have taken these pills
without problems, but there are some that have cramping
or stomach pains as a result.
Black Cohosh
-
Black cohosh
(known as both Actaea racemosa and Cimicifuga
racemosa), a member of the buttercup family, is a
perennial plant that is native to North America. Other
common names include black snakeroot, bugbane, bugwort,
rattleroot, rattletop, rattleweed, and macrotys. Insects
avoid it, which accounts for some of these common names.
Black cohosh can cause stomach discomfort and
headaches gastric complaints, heaviness in the legs, and
weight problems. Women should also stay
away from black cohosh if they are pregnant because it
has a high rate of miscarage. People that
have an allergy to asprin or other pain killing
drugs should also steer clear of black cohosh because of
problems.
Many of the breast pills use black
cohosh as an ingredient though. They use it
because it can have hormonal effects that can be a
benefit to women going through hot flashes, or
menopausal symptoms. It also helps to balance the
hormonal system and then help in the increase of the
breast tissue.
